This is my first time working with Go Ahead Tours, but they won out over all the other companies I interviewed. They're molto experienced, highly rated, had the best price, and do a few things differently than some other companies. But first...

  1. The tour price actually drops if we get to 20 travelers, and drops again if we get to 26 (our normal group size). So there's a definite incentive for us to spread the word to our fun-to-be-with friends. You could save something like $360.
  2. They'll book your air travel, or you can get your own. Your choice! You can even wait to decide until 3 months before departure.
  3. They have both a dedicated chat line AND a phone number to folks that will answer your questions. 
  4. There are several different ways to pay. Use whatever's most convenient.
  5. The hotels are there on the tour website so you can explore them at your leisure.
  6. All the pricing options are right there too...

Except - one thing that's not easy to find (no idea why) is the solo traveler single supplement, which is $875 for the Italy tour, and $480 for the optional Paris extension.

If you’ve never traveled with me...

...we’re positive, open-minded explorers who love new horizons, unique experiences, exotic places, and the people who live there.

We enjoy getting to know each other, make time for connecting with each other, and come home with new friends. On one recent Ireland trip we had one couple get engaged, and another couple celebrate 50 years together.

On this tour we’ll be sightseeing during the day. Some evenings we’ll have musical performances by me, and leisure time to explore on your own.

I’ll have my guitar along, so we'll make time for all the songs, jokes, and stories you can stand.

Our basic rule is: No Whining!

Our other basic rule is: Be On time!

How much walking? To enjoy everything, you should be able to walk leisurely but unassisted  for approximately 3 miles per day. This will vary by the day, but I hope it gives you an idea.
